Богата е на витамини А, С, Е, В1, В2, В6 и РР. Семената й пък съдържат фруктоза, глюкоза, калий, калций, фосфор и мед.
От семките на дюлята можете да си сварите лечебна отвара, но не трябва да ги смачквате. Съветваме ви винаги да ги махате и да избягвате консумацията им, ако не сте сигурни какво правите. Вътрешната част на семената на дюлята съдържат отровното вещество гликозид амигдалин!
Макар да не е популярна в диетите, в 100 г дюля има 57 Ккал. Към чаша фреш от дюля може да добавите лъжичка мед, за да е по-вкусно и по-полезно.
